Product Details
Our Compostable Bin Bags 40L Roll 25 are certified to EN 13432 and will decompose in both home and industrial composting facilities. The 40 litre volume is perfect for regular kitchen bins, giving you plenty of space for all those food scraps. The liner has been manufactured from corn starch and other plant extracts, enabling the hygienic collection of food waste for disposal in a composting facility.
Each bag carries the compostable seedling logo and are approved for use with council food waste recycling schemes. The bag material is easily compostable and biodegradable to water, CO2 and residual organic carbon, leaving no harmful residues.

After 14 days the bag should degrade by 55% and then after 45 days it will degrade by 97%, as long as it is disposed of in the correct composting conditions.
