The standalone Ramblegard Seat Pad is designed for use on top of or under a cushion on a chair. The alarm will be triggered when pressure is released from the pad. Each one is supplied with a wired companion monitor. Standalone seat pads will function independently of any nurse call system, so offers much more flexibility to the user. Each one includes a 1 years manufacturer's guarantee. The wired companion monitor boasts:

- Pause mode to avoid false alarms
- 3 adjustable tones
- Volume control
- 2 delay settings
- It is battery operated (AA x 3)
