Customer Service - Cherrie
Gompels HealthCare is very customer focused, always improving to make the level of service excellent. I enjoy having regular contact with the customers and public on the phone. I process orders from customers, dealing with any queries and complaints the minute we get them to give a quick and happy solution. It is a family run business and although expanding, it still has family values towards its staff.
Warehouse - Vikki
Working for Gompels is very enjoyable, I enjoy the variety of my job and the great team spirit we have. My role includes picking and packing orders, helping with stock control and receiving and loading goods. I really feel I make a difference at Gompels; our suggestions for improvements are listened to and used to improve things. For example, improvements in packaging to ensure that our customers receive their products in the best possible condition.
Accounts - Claire
I like being a member of the Accounts Team, we are able to work individually but always know that if necessary a great support network from colleagues is there. There is always something to be done, I love being busy and enjoy very much the huge variety of jobs undertaken within the accounts. I get great satisfaction when dealing with payments, or talking someone through an ongoing concern that they have. Great care is taken in updating the processes to achieve quicker customer service. Never will many months go by without another button being introduced linking a service making the process sharper for the operators and more effective for the customer.
Business Development - Ed
My main role at Gompels is to create new business opportunities, by prospecting organisations that do not use us for their supplies at present. I work closely with decision makers, with the aim of proving to them that we really do keep to our promises. By switching their purchasing to Gompels, they will not only be able to save a considerable amount but will also benefit from the extraordinary service that we offer. I love my role; it gives me a great sense of personal achievement, and I enjoy working within a family business where your views and suggestions are listened to and used to influence the future of the company.
Purchasing - Gemma
Gompels HealthCare is a busy place to work but has a very friendly atmosphere and a great working environment. I like my job because I feel that I'm given opportunities to learn new skills and am always made to feel an important member of the Gompels team. I am involved in the sourcing, ordering and receiving of our products, ensuring that the quality of products remains high whilst continuing to drive down the cost to ensure that we always have the most competitive prices for our customers.
Marketing - Sasha
As part of the Marketing team at Gompels, I create our product catalogues, marketing materials and help to maintain www.gompels.co.uk. I enjoy the variety in my job ensuring that everything that we do is always focused towards making life easier for our customers. Ensuring images, descriptions and all materials are clear and detailed, giving our customers all the information they need when deciding to buy from us.
