This half litre Bucket Balance is a fun and interactive resource that allows children to understand and explore the mathematical concept of weight. Each is supplied with two clear buckets which can be filled with items such as water, blocks, sand, feathers or stones so children can see which is heavier or lighter.

It is a great visual tool to show children that items that appear the same size are not necessarily the same weight. The balance scale has a sliding compensator for accurate measuring and balance.
