The Siemens SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Test Kit 5 Pack helps identify infected individuals in 15 minutes. This easy to use test doesn't require specialist laboratory personnel or instruments, so can be completed easily in care homes, schools or offices. This lateral flow covid-19 antigen test visually indicates results in an easy to read format.
Nasal specimen performance
- Sensitivity: 97.25%
- Specificity: 100%
- Accuracy: 98.73%
Each pack contains:
- 5 test cassettes
- 5 extraction buffer vials
- 5 sterile swabs
- 5 extraction tubes and tips
- 1 workstation
- 1 package insert
Nasopharyngeal Directions for use
- Carefully insert the sterile swab into patient's nostril, gently rotate the swab several times over the surface of the posterior nasopharynx, and gently remove.
- Add 10 drops of buffer into upright extraction tube using the stand provided
- Roll the swab 6+ times within the tube, squeeze against inside of the tube, let stand for 1 minute and squeeze several more times
- Safely remove and discard the swab, and insert dropper tip into the tube containing the specimen
- Lay cassette flat and add four drops of the sample into the sample well.
- Results will show after 15 minutes
Nasal Directions for use
- Carefully insert the sterile swab into patient's nostril (2-4 cm), roll swab 5 times along the mucosa to collect mucous and cells, and gently remove. Repeat for other nostril.
- Add 10 drops of buffer into upright extraction tube using the stand provided
- Roll the swab 6+ times within the tube, squeeze against inside of the tube, let stand for 1 minute and squeeze several more times
- Safely remove and discard the swab, and insert dropper tip into the tube containing the specimen
- Lay cassette flat and add four drops of the sample into the sample well.
