How to use wipes and disinfectants to clean patient-contact surface areas

Before and after patient contact with any surface:

• Remove single use protective covers and sheeting
• Wipe clean chairs, tables and any user controls
• Disinfect surfaces, chairs, spittoons and other risk zones
• Replace new single-use protective covers and sheeting over patient areas
• Repeat for every new patient for clean, disinfected and safe surface areas
