How to use wipes and disinfectants to clean patient-contact surface areas
Before and after patient contact with any surface:
- Remove single use protective covers and sheeting
- Wipe clean chairs, tables and any user controls
- Disinfect surfaces, chairs, spittoons and other risk zones
- Replace new single-use protective covers and sheeting over patient areas
- Repeat for every new patient for clean, disinfected and safe surface areas
