How do I qualify for free delivery?
Next working day delivery is free on all orders over £50.
If your order is less than £50, next-working day delivery is £5.00 (ex. VAT).
What is your cut-off time for next working day delivery?
Place your order by 5pm (online or by telephone, fax or email us) in order to qualify for next working day delivery.
Yes – we use HTTPS with 256-bit encryption as standard for all online purchases. Please check for the green HTTPS text in your web browser address bar or for the padlock sign when submitting any confidential or financial information.

Can I link my existing telephone or fax account so I can order on your website?
Yes. It’s easy to do if you’ve already ordered from us by telephone or fax, and want to add the convenience of online ordering.
- Firstly, open a new account on our website
- Once this is done, give us a quick call on 0845 450 2420, and we’ll link your existing account with your new online account straight away
- And that’s it!

You can open a new account instantly on our website to begin ordering, or alternatively, give us a call on 0845 450 2420 and we’d be happy to do it for you.
I want to return something I ordered
Please call us on 0845 450 2420 or email us to arrange a return.
We cannot accept opened or used items or packets in the interest of hygiene. This does not affect your statutory rights.

I ordered from your Clearance Products page and the product was incomplete
Our Clearance Products page contains products that were returned or incomplete in some way. The product page (and the product’s price) should let you know the percentage it is complete, and the product code will always begin with ‘92’. If you are unsure, give us a call on 0845 450 2420 and we can check the Clearance Product in question for you.
An offer I used before is no longer available
We update our offers every 2-3 months (with some new ones every week!) in order to provide all our customers with a variety of different offers. Offers do expire, although sometimes an offer may appear unavailable simply because we’ve changed the offer code! If you are unsure please take a look at our bulk buy and special offers page to discover all the savings you could make.

How do I find product COSHH information?
First, find the product you need COSHH information for on the website (use the search box in the top right if it helps!). Once you’re on the right product page, you’ll find the COSHH sheet as a downloadable PDF at the bottom of the product description.
Where can I find task sheets, infection control guides and information charts?
All product information can be found on each product’s webpage, or in the product category page (click here for an example for gloves). Task sheets and medical information also can be found in our Info Zone. Everything on our website is available for you to download for free as many times as you need.
I want to make a desktop icon for your website
It’s easy to go to our website directly from your computer desktop.
Firefox or Google Chrome (Mac or Windows)
- Go to www.gompels.co.uk in either Firefox or Google Chrome
- Once the page is loaded, simply drag the small icon/picture in the web address bar (where you type www.gompels.co.uk) onto your desktop
Internet Explorer (Windows only)
- Right Click on your desktop
- Select ‘New’ then ‘Shortcut’
- Where it says ‘Type the location of the item’ type: www.gompels.co.uk
- Click ‘Next’
- Where it says ‘Type a name for this shortcut’ type: Gompels HealthCare
- Click ‘Finish’
- And that’s it! Now you can just click on the desktop icon to go straight to our website.
How does Gompels HealthCare keep its prices low?
We keep our prices down by buying carefully from our manufacturers, and also by buying in bulk. This lowers transportation and packaging costs – and the savings we make on reducing these costs are savings we pass onto you!
How do I make a product comparison?
The best way is to make sure you take note of the quantity, quality and the delivery costs of products when comparing to make sure you are comparing like-for-like products. If you'd like, we can provide price list comparisons with all this information so you can make an informed choice if you’re looking to switch from your current supplier to us.
Can you provide order history analysis?
Yes, if you’re an existing customer with a history of ordering from us.
We can analyse your order history for free and identify areas in which you can reduce your costs. Please email us or give us a call on 0845 450 2420 to find out more.

I don’t live on the UK mainland – what about delivery?
If you live on the Isle of Wight, there is a flat rate delivery cost of £5.00.
Unfortunately if you live in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands, any islands (Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, etc) or require the British Forces Post Office, we cannot deliver to you.
I don’t live in the UK – can I make an order?
Unfortunately we do not ship internationally – we ship only to the UK mainland and to the Isle of Wight.
Where are Gompels HealthCare based?
We’re based in Wiltshire, although we use a range of national delivery couriers to ensure fast and reliable next day delivery anywhere on the UK mainland.
